This 250-year old masterpiece is one of the oldest casinos in the world, even though it was closed down from 1872 to 1933 after the government of that time outlawed gambling. Casino Baden Baden is most famous for having named each of its gambling salons after a famous figure in history. The Madame Pompadour room is named after the mistress of Louis XV.
